Cleaning A Glock 23 - There are only two types of parts in pistol bullets: breakables and breakables. Despite its well-deserved reputation for being tough as nails, all components of your Glock pistol will eventually fail. If I hit, that's enough. Learn how to maintain your Glock and get one of these . failed
In the last 2 years I have fired over 70,000 rounds through my Glock pistols in training and competition. I mention this because, even though I hold Glocks with indifference, I fired these 70k rounds (55k in just one G19) for comfort and instructive questions.

In light of this experience, I will share here some recommendations for long service life and maximum reliability of pistol balls. Of course, nothing is certain in engineering, but the steps I'll share here will ensure you meet your obligations and do your part to prevent a catastrophic or life-threatening accident. So be warned: your link may be different.

Owning a firearm comes with a certain responsibility. Among them is the duty to keep accurate records for every firearm you own and every part of it. If you don't keep the exact measurements of each weapon and act accordingly, you will find yourself in an uncomfortable or possibly life-threatening situation when training or defending your life. no
Each time you replace a component (prior to failure), record the date and round number, and then record the target round for the next replacement. Refer to and record your companion round each time you fire your pistol. When the calculation for the life of certain components exceeds the appropriate limit, replace and transport. We'll see component life in a moment.
First, clean your Glock every time you shoot. Keep this thing as clean as new and it will last a long time. Additionally, I recommend cleaning each demounter every 2,000 cycles, as I find many have dirty enough internals to be part of the job. As with all handgun maintenance, I err on the side of caution over luck.
My Glock 19 after 2 years and 55,000 rounds. So far I have replaced the trigger spring, trigger spring, and slide spring several times, and the extractor, magazine spring, shock spring, and once each. For each cleaning, disassemble your grill to this point and thoroughly clean all components. Make sure each component is dry before assembly.

After the slide and frame are completely disassembled, thoroughly clean each component and clean every gap in the slide and frame. I praise you
Remove the magazine and detent spring or slide lock except to replace the spring, as this can damage and weaken the springs.
I recommend that you only use Q-tips or other dry materials to clean the slide slots for the striker and extractor. You don't want even slightly wet surfaces on your striker's tank. Regardless of how you clean the other components, be sure to thoroughly dry them before reassembling.
The really dirty stuff that needs extra attention includes the extractor (especially the blade edge/groove), the firing pin safety, and the firing pin. He wipes the Oil thing or Oily thing from the seam and really digs into those parts with his fingernails to completely cut off the gunpowder residue.

There is no way to know when a firearm part will fail. Therefore, responsibility requires us to arrange appropriate round intervals. It's best to replace parts before you think you need them!
Small glock parts are very cheap and I always recommend having a pair on hand for each of your Glocks. That way, when you encounter failure—and if you plan too much, you will—you can just walk into a new store without waiting for it to arrive.
There are some handgun cartridges that wear out faster than others and require regular maintenance. These include the slide spring assembly, trigger spring, slide lock spring, and magazine catch spring.
The recoil spring is a pistol grip. There are many ideas and options for replacing the trigger spring, a) to prevent cyclic problems and b) to prevent the locking bolt from breaking. I recommend you replace the recoil spring (grossly overcompressed).40 cal and .357 Sig have 3000 to 5000 rounds each. I recommend changing every 5,000-10,000 rounds for .380, 9mm, .45 and 10mm.

Glock crack factory springs. I've tried several others and not once has a non-Glock-OEM spring gone over 1,000 rounds and either broken or caused circuit problems. Many other non-OEM parts can work well on a Glock, but if that bothers you, I can't find any replacements for original Glock Triggers. Here again, your transition will be different. Spring break appointments typically cost between $7 and $20. You may also want to consider replacing the locking pin periodically every 30,000-40,000 cycles for about $3.
With a broken trigger, you don't own the gun as much as you own the paperweight. I have never experienced a broken trigger on any of my Glocks. I read somewhere that change the trigger every 10,000 rounds, so that's what I did. Since it's only $2, there's no shortage of cat fountains that I don't want to try. It is cheap; especially when compared to the inevitable failure of potential life.
When the spring breaks, the lock falls, and your frame slides. A slide lock is the mechanism you use to remove your lock. The two tabs on either side of the frame are the edges of the slide fastener. Every now and then the bow snaps into the frame and sometimes just splits in half. One in my Glock 19 Gen 4 broke after 31,000 rounds (I have replaced it before). I recommend replacing worn spring hairs every 10,000 cycles. These resources are about $3.
A broken magazine catch means that the pistol cannot hold a magazine that will fall out from the right. The trigger magazine on the Glock 19 Gen 4 broke after 51,000 rounds. The spring is recessed deep into the grip, which you should never remove unless you are replacing it or removing or replacing your magazine release. I've never seen data on how often these break, but you can't run a Glock without one. They cost about $3. We recommend replacement every 20,000 cycles.

I only say this as something that is rarely needed later, but not necessarily for use. I've only bent the slide stop lever spring once, I think when cleaning up the first details on my first Glock pistol. You are reading this in general.
"Sliding Release") is not prone to fire or failure from use, but is really nice and can be bent easily. When you unload your pistol, it's not uncommon for the end of the spring to catch on something and bend. The rock stop bar is also vulnerable to crash when it is removed from the joint. Although it is possible to return the bow to its proper shape, it is not possible. Not compatible with the new bow, instead a bar and bow collection for about $7.
I recommend replacing the attack spring and cup springs every 20,000 cycles, but I haven't seen any official recommendations. This is really important and the cups are really very delicate. These elements are part of a severe mechanical process for each trigger, so they are a wear element. The fountain and cup cost about $3 each.
The trigger is probably the life of the component in the Glock, but I recommend replacing it every 40,000 rounds. Especially if you practice dry fire on the tactical line (you do, right?).

Other parts can also break, but these key components are more likely to fail and require responsible condition, function, and periodic replacement.
The strong and simple construction of the Glock pistol gives it an inherent tendency to perform in all adverse conditions, but since it will last for years and years and thousands and thousands of rounds, it is better to keep it like new.
In addition to what's mentioned here, be sure to do a quick check of all of your pistol's components each time you clean it. The faces of the buckles crack, the rails slip
